What does the word huios mean?

I am still researching this, but some scholars believe it means a fully mature son (or daughter when used by New Testament writers in a spiritual sense) who has legal access to their father’s estate and inheritance, usually at the age of 30 in ancient Biblical culture. It also allegedly means father-likeness in the sense of a child growing up to full maturity not only to look like their father but act like the father like a mirror image.
